Medical field:

Inventing and developing diagnostic materials used in many genetic and microbial diseases as well as diseases resulting from the dysfunction of the body.
Development of research on the production of therapeutic drugs such as antibiotics, immunosuppressants, gene therapy and biotechnology.
Establish safe ways to deal with and preserve biological materials and medicines.
Development of safe tools for disposal of chemical and biological waste.
Perform all types of diagnostic tests used in the branches of medical analysis associated with the program in hospitals, medical centers and special analysis laboratories.
Ability to participate in many specialized medical research.

 

Agriculture field:

Participate in the application of genetic engineering in the development of production processes of genetically modified crops with high yield characteristics.
Participate in developing research to obtain crops resistant to agricultural pests.
Participate in achieving food security through the development of research on the use of biotechnology to develop productivity of dairy and meat from animals and increase the ability of these animals to resist diseases.

 

Environmental field:

Implementation of health inspections to protect the environment.
To protect the environment from biological pollution and to establish the necessary controls and studies for the disposal of biological waste and to develop it using the latest technologies.
Assessment of environmental hazards caused by chemical and biological agents.
Participate in the process of recycling and utilization of health waste.
Sewage treatment and reuse in many areas.
Work on the development of quality research and purification of drinking water by adjusting the necessary standards for this.

 

Industry field:

Design, operation and development of industrial programs based on biochemistry, which is represented in many industries, such as:pharmaceutical industry - cosmetic industry - nutrition and dairy industry - chemical industry.
Develop biotechnology programs and contribute to research on biotechnology.
Development of medical, chemical and biological equipment manufacturers, which are used in this field.

 

Education field:

Ability to participate in the development and teaching of curricula in educational institutes and intermediate colleges in biochemistry sciences and its branches.
