On behalf of myself and my colleagues at the Central Laboratory of the College of Science, King Saud University, I am honored to welcome you to the Central Laboratory's web page.
Eversince its establishment, the Central Laboratory has consistently strived in contributing to the college's vision of excellence and leadership in the basic sciences and their various applications. The Central laboratory has also played a leading role in building a knowledge-based community by providing various educational and research services through its three major domains: the Life Sciences Unit, the Chemical and Physical preparations Unit, and the Microscopy Unit.
The Central Laboratory is distinguished by housing the latest sophisticated scientific devices and is supervised by an exceptional technical management team. The transfer and localization of technology is primarily achieved through training undergraduate students in the College of Science on the latest techniques, as well as assisting faculty members, researchers, and graduate students in producing high-quality scientific research that serves the Saudi community. These techniques provide solutions to many environmental and health issues faced by the Kingdom.
The mission of the Central Laboratory management at the College of Science is to provide laboratory and consulting services and training programs at an outstanding level.
