The Astrophysics and Space Science Group at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, King Saud University, focuses on studying cosmic phenomena and understanding the physical interactions in the universe. The group's research interests include solar physics, space weather, supernovae, supermassive black holes, and active galaxies. It aims to utilize advanced technologies and theoretical models to analyze astronomical phenomena and contribute to the scientific understanding of galaxies, planets, and stars.
The group is dedicated to conducting outstanding research in astrophysics that supports scientific advancement and enhances the Kingdom’s position in space sciences, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.
