Group History
The Nuclear Physics Research Group was founded more than thirty years ago and its first role in community service was to examine and detect radiation in various imports of the kingdom through the Permanent Radiation Committee and that was after the Chernobyl disaster April 26 of 1986.
Group Activates
Below is a brief presentation of the various activities that have been accomplished during the past years in various academic and research fields, public activities and community service:
In the academic field group members participate in teaching curricula and supervising student laboratories, according to the teaching burdens assigned to them in each semester.
In the supervision and research field The group contributed to the supervision of many master's and doctoral theses and graduation projects for undergraduate students, and the group also participated in experiments and research activities within international research centers, including the German Center for Heavy Ion Research GSI and the French Center for Heavy Ion Accelerators GANIL.
In the field of construction and establishment the group worked on preparing and providing many laboratories that contain a number of researches, scientific and training devices and equipment.
In the field of publishing and media members of the group participated in the preparation and authoring of twenty-three publications that dealt with several scientific, educational, cultural and guide fields, in addition to publishing some scientific articles in a number of specialized journals.
In the field of community service The Nuclear Physics Research Group provided more than 40 training courses in the field of nuclear and nuclear radiation protection for many public and private bodies and institutions outside the university.
