Saudi Geological Survey Research Chair for Natural Hazards (SGSRC)

The Saudi Geological Survey Research Chair for Natural Hazards (SGSRC) was established in the year 2010 at the Geology and Geophysics Department of the King Saud University with the objective of strengthening and spreading innovative research in the field of geological hazards and related domains to support the distinctive participation in national and international research activities and to encourage the scientific publications related to this research in internationally renowned journals/periodicals. The chair is supervised by Prof Nassir Alarifi and since its inception in 2010, its scientific committee members have published numerous research articles on reputed and peer reviewed international journals.
