Materials Physics and Renewable Energy Group
The Materials Group of the Department of Physics, King Saud University, is investigating a number of scientific challenges in the field of solid state. These challenges relate to a range of research topics in nanotechnology, its applications and modeling, chemical and biological materials sensing, semiconductors and their devices, and superconductors. The group is distinguished by its cooperation with commercial and scientific institutions (such as Aramco, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, and King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology) which achieves cooperation in the field of solid state research and development.
