The Master’s program was approved in 1400 AH (1980 AD) and aims to serve a broad base of university graduates by providing them with high-level qualifications. It has recently been developed to keep pace with the latest advancements in global science and technology, aligning with the needs of the job market.

• To prepare human resources capable of engaging with scientific developments in both theoretical and experimental physics, qualified for scientific research and doctoral studies with competence and confidence. 
• To contribute to meeting the needs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for specialized physicists in theoretical and experimental physics. 
• To address the increasing demand from those seeking this important degree and provide the opportunity to pursue graduate studies locally, ensuring quality in the outcomes.
