Protein   BiochemistryA study of CTAB-induced protein unfolding and aggregation”.

A concentration-dependent study will explore how CTAB

induces concentration-dependent unfolding and amyloid

fibrillation of protein under physiological conditions, and its

effect modulated by folding additives. The work provides insights

into protein misfolding relevant to biopharmaceutical stability.

1. Deciphering the mechanisms and modulation of

α-synuclein amyloidogenesis. This project addresses

alpha-synuclein aggregation involved in

Parkinson’s disease.

2. A molecular approach to understanding and

inhibiting lysozyme amyloidogenesis

This project investigates how lysozyme proteins misfold

and form harmful amyloid fibrils, providing insights

into hereditary amyloidosis and other

protein-misfolding diseases.
