About the Department of Botany and Microbiology
In the academic year 1403/1404H, the department's branch for female students was established at the university's female campus. In 1407H, a specialization in Biology was introduced alongside Botany, and the curricula were developed accordingly. As a result, the department began offering a bachelor's degree in Botany and Microbiology, as well as a combined degree in both Botany and Microbiology. Due to this development, the department's name changed to the Department of Botany and Microbiology.
