Vice Dean of the College of Science’s Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Vice Deanship of the College of Science, which we hope will serve as an effective platform to introduce the College, its female staff members, facilities, and the services it provides. We also aspire for it to be a supportive platform that empowers female students academically and in research, and enhances their role in the journey toward scientific excellence.

The Vice Deanship contributes to the institutional development process that the University seeks to achieve within its strategic vision, by providing a stimulating educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation, keeps pace with the latest scientific developments, and helps prepare national competencies capable of competing and making meaningful contributions to scientific research and community service.

The efforts of the Vice Deanship are aligned with national directions and the vision of the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has given education great importance and provided all means of support to enhance its quality and outcomes. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which represents a roadmap for comprehensive development, with education being one of its key pillars.

Key Responsibilities of the Vice Dean of the College of Science:

- Supervising the implementation of the College’s strategic plan related to the female students’ branch.

- Supervising the provision of all educational, research, administrative, and financial requirements related to female students.

- Supervising the performance of the female branches of academic departments.

- Implementing and following up on the decisions of the College Council at the female students’ branch.

- Working on the development and improvement of administrative and academic operations in the female students’ departments.

- Monitoring and updating the College website regarding the Vice Deanship and its affiliated administrative units.

- Preparing comprehensive periodic reports on the progress of work in the female students’ departments and submitting them to the Dean of the College.
