All thanks and praises are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. May the peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad, his household, his companions, and those following them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.

It gives me great pleasure and honor to welcome you, dear visitors, to the website of the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, College of Sciences, at King Saud University, through which our male and female students as well as visitors, can be informed about the services provided by the College Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs in the College of Sciences and its various units, which are part of the College of Sciences system. A constructive and effective role in achieving the college’s vision, mission, and goals derived from King Saud University’s strategic plan, which aims with every effort to achieve its role in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. I would like to emphasize that the crucial role of the Vice Deanship for Educational and Academic Affairs is to provide various services to our male and female students, which makes it the most connected and communicative deanship with students since the initial moments of their enrollment until their graduation. Indeed, the student-Vice deanship’s relationship extends even after graduation.

Importantly, the College’s Vice Deanship for Educational and Academic Affairs is committed to provide an appropriate learning environment for both male and female students through the outstanding infrastructure of the buildings, advanced laboratory equipment, learning methods, and implementation of modern technologies. The Vice deanship also works in cooperation with the college’s academic departments to continuously develop its academic programs and develop new quality programs following international academic standards and references, with the aim of achieving distinguished learning outcomes capable of competing locally and internationally, keeping pace with developments in the labor market and meeting its needs, thereby enhancing career opportunities for graduates of the college’s programs. In addition to the aforementioned duties, the Vice Deanship is following up on the conditions of our male and female students through the Vice deanship’s Guidance and Guidance Unit, which provides its services in academic, social, psychological, and vocational guidance and addresses the causes of students’ stumbling, while developing appropriate solutions to overcome this stumbling in coordination with the college departments and the University’s Student Guidance and Guidance Center. Out of the Vice deanship’s belief in the importance of developing male and female students’ talents, enhancing their spirit of creativity and innovation, and encouraging them to cooperate and work together, the Vice deanship’s Student Activities Unit plays an active role in achieving this by supporting students and encouraging them to participate in student clubs as well as their engagement in various scientific and cultural activities. Social, sports, and participation in various activities at the university level are also among the duties provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university. On this basis, we hope that our male and female students find the Vice deanship’s website beneficial in learning about all the academic regulations for the academic programs in all college’s departments and reviewing their contents.

Ultimately, the college's Vice Deanship for Educational and Academic Affairs aims to continuously improve and develop the services provided by the vice deanship and welcomes all opinions, suggestions, and complaints through the designated link on the vice deanship’s website.

In conclusion, we believe that success is the result of organized collective work and that the students of the College of Science are the hope of the future to serve this country with all sincerity and dedication.
